SHHH

privacy

this policy describes how the SHHH app handles your data.

last updated: october 2, 2026

summary

SHHH keeps your count, paintings, and (if you allow it) places on your device. we don’t run a server of our own that receives this data, and we don’t sell personal information.

who we are

SHHH is made by yours truly, roberta garcia. questions about privacy or how the app works: hello@robhouseblues.com.

data the app stores

on your iphone (and in the app group used by the widget), SHHH may store: how many times you pressed SHHH today; the paintings and stamps in your history; app preferences (for example, background style); and, if allowed, approximate coordinates for each tap, used only for the map and the archive.

location

location is optional. we ask for “while using the app” permission and only use it to mark where you pressed SHHH. if you deny or revoke the permission in ios settings, the app keeps working without saving new places.

sharing

if you share a painting (for example, to instagram stories), the image leaves the app under your control, to the destination you choose. SHHH doesn’t send that image to a server of ours. if the painting uses the map background, the app asks first whether you want to share it with or without the map, because it shows the streets where you pressed SHHH.

what we don’t do

we don’t collect user data; we don’t use third-party advertising; we don’t track you across apps for ads; and we don’t send usage data to a server of ours.

children

SHHH is rated 12+ in brazil and is not directed at children under 12.

retention and deletion

your data stays on the device until you delete it in the app or uninstall SHHH. in the app, you can delete a specific day (on that day’s screen), forget all places while keeping paintings and counts, or erase everything (both in the archive menu). when you uninstall, the system removes the app’s local data (and the widget’s).
